What does handicap mean ?

This involves giving one team (usually the underdog) a head start on goals.

HANDICAP (0:1) This means home team is giving the away team a 1-goal advantage before the start of the match with the home team still to win the match. Any customer who places this bet must bear in mind that at the end  of the match, the handicap (1 GOAL) will be added to the actual match score to give the cumulative . So to win a bet like this, the team you are betting on to win must win by 2 clear goals in the actual match..

E.g     MAN UTD vs. ARSENAL (HANDICAP 0:1)

IT SIMPLY MEANS MAN UTD MUST WIN BY 2:0, 3:1, 4:2 FOR YOU TO WIN THAT BET SO YOUR BET SCORE CAN BE 2:1, 3:2, 4:3 RESPECTIVELY.

The same rule applies to Handicap (0:1). The difference is just that in this instance, the away team is giving the home team a 1-goal advantage.

Please note that "1" in (0:1) refers to the number of handicap goals. Handicap could be (2:0), (0:2), (3:0), (0:3), (4:0), (0:4) e.t.c
